We invite EVERYONE to make and display a Scarecrow between
10 August - 1 September.
Then the winners will be announced at the Village Fair on
Sunday 1 September.
Taking place 11am-4pm there will be a traditional village show with competitions for pets, preserves, cakes and more!
We want the Scarecrow Invasion 2024 to be biggest and best ever!
Let the Scarecrows take over!

BBQ, Stalls, Games, Raffle
Between 11am & 12pm
All entries into the competitions need to be delivered to the Village Hall
12pm Judging will start

Scarecrows have been part of our farming heritage forever and a day. Their practical purpose in the fields was to scare birds which might otherwise eat the seeds or damage young crops.
There has been a Copford Scarecrow Festival for about 15 years and we look forward to seeing the wonderful creations around Copford and Easthorpe this year!
